Whether you're experienced in the Education or childcare sector, have done some babysitting, or are considering working with children for the first time, THIS is the role for you!

A service based in St Albans is looking for a passionate and caring Educator for children in our after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 16.25 hours per week all year round - the perfect balance!

Shift times will be Monday - Friday 2:45 – 06:00 PM (Stay and Play Program).

About the role

Working in a team of Educators, you will have the support of a Coordinator to seamlessly run before and after school care for children aged 5-12 years:

  • Facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art, and craft — whatever you and the children are into!
  • Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
  • Work with a team of skilled Educators onsite

Who are we looking for?

We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:

  • Enjoy working with kids
  • Strong and clear communication
  • Team player with a desire to become a service leader
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
  • Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA
