Description and Requirements

Whether you're experienced in the Education or childcare sector, have done some babysitting, or are considering working with children for the first time, THIS is the role for you!

Our services based in Beaconsfield and Beaconsfield Upper are looking for passionate and caring Educators for children in our after school care capacity. This is a casual position with varying hours across different services.

Shift times vary between Monday - Friday 7:00 - 9:00 AM and 3:00 - 6:00 PM, including holiday programs.

About the role

Working in a team of Educators, with the support of a Coordinator, you will help run before and after school care for children aged 5-12 years:

• Facilitate engaging, child-centered programs with activities like STEM, sports, cooking, art, and craft.
• Foster healthy relationships with children, schools, the community, and parents.
• Collaborate with skilled Educators onsite.

Who are we looking for?

We can teach you about the job and sector, but you should have:

• Enjoy working with kids
• Strong and clear communication skills
• Team spirit and a desire to grow into a service leader
• Willingness to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
• Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA
