Job summary

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Ward Facilities Co-ordinator to ensure a clean, safe and comfortable ward environment. The post holder will coordinate catering, cleaning and maintenance services and liaise with support services to meet patient needs.

You will support the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse, comply with infection prevention policies, and contribute to non-clinical duties to maintain high quality patient facilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all patient facilities in the ward area ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
• Oversee catering, cleaning and maintenance services on the ward.
• Assist Ward Sister/Charge Nurse to ensure effective delivery of facilities services and liaise with support service departments.
• Comply with infection prevention and control policies.
