Job summary

NHS Fife invites applications for a 1st level trained nurse to join Ward 33, Orthopaedic Trauma Ward. Ward 33 is a 23-bed unit delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a busy, forward-thinking environment.

The post offers rotational day and night shifts to meet service needs. Applicants should be enthusiastic, dynamic, and self-motivated with a genuine interest in orthopaedic/surgical nursing. PVG checks apply and flexible/family-friendly policies are in place.

Qualifications

• Active participation in a multidisciplinary team delivering orthopaedic care.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Experience in acute nursing is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, compassionate, person-centred nursing care on Ward 33.
• Work as part of a dynamic team to support safe, timely orthopaedic care.
