Job summary

The University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking two lead trauma consultants to join one of four orthopaedic trauma teams. You will oversee paediatric trauma care with senior mentorship and joint operating for complex cases, based at the University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Trust.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the consultant-led paediatric trauma service to maintain high quality trauma care with consultant involvement in early operative work and fracture clinic supervision.
• Take on a sub-specialist role in management of developmental dysplasia of the hip and clubfoot, and support other sub-specialities such as pelvic/hip surgery or foot & ankle surgery.
