• Perform complex surgical procedures on bones, joints, and soft tissues to restore function and alleviate pain, ensuring precision and adherence to best practices.
• Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments, including imaging studies and physical examinations, to develop personalized surgical plans for each patient.
• Manage post-operative care, including pain management and rehabilitation protocols, to support optimal recovery and minimize complications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physiotherapists and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care throughout the recovery process.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in orthopaedic techniques and technologies, integrating innovative practices into the surgical routine.
• Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, recovery expectations, and preventive measures to enhance overall health outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting surgical procedures, outcomes, and follow-up care to ensure continuity in treatment.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree with a specialization in orthopaedic surgery from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of residency training in orthopaedic surgery, followed by 1-2 years of fellowship training in a subspecialty area.
• Proven experience in performing a diverse range of orthopaedic surgeries, including minimally invasive techniques and joint replacements.
• Strong understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy, biomechanics, and pathology, enabling accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in additional languages being a significant advantage in diverse patient populations.
