Pulse has recently partnered with a leading healthcare provider. We are currently looking for an experienced Orthopaedic Staff Nurse to provide support for the clinical leadership of the service. This position is based in Central London, easily accessible via public transport.

About the role:

As an Orthopaedic Staff Nurse, you will work in a clinical and service development capacity to ensure patient care is planned, delivered, and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice. You will collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to create and maintain a robust service while integrating other centre services.

Your main responsibilities as an Orthopaedic Staff Nurse:

  • Assess care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate care programs with the multidisciplinary team and patients’ families.
  • Promote continuous improvement of patient care through research and evidence-based practice.
  • Take delegated responsibility for the department in the absence of the Ward Manager, including supervising junior staff.
  • Apply advanced clinical skills to ensure safe and effective patient care.

What we are looking for in an Orthopaedic Staff Nurse:

  • Experience at Band 5 or above in a relevant role.
  • Evidence-based and up-to-date clinical practice.
  • Experience in identifying and managing risks within own practice.
  • Experience supporting junior staff to improve patient care standards.
