Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered with NMC or HCPC and eligible to practice in the UK.
• General Nursing or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with scrub experience in Orthopaedic theatre.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and adherence to clinical governance.

Responsibilities

• Support the clinical area leadership in day-to-day operations and perioperative care.
• Plan, deliver and evaluate patient care aligned with Trust values and professional frameworks.
• Maintain a safe, organised clinical environment and provide mentorship to colleagues and students.
• Provide clinical supervision and role-modeling to develop others within the theatre team.
