We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse/ODP to join our dynamic team. The core purpose of this role is to primarily work within Orthopaedics; however, due to service demand, you may work in various specialties.

As an experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse/ODP, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of patients within the operating theatre. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support throughout the perioperative environment. Responsibilities include:

1. Leading the operating list from start to completion, escalating concerns promptly.
2. Preparing the operating room for a range of cases, ensuring all instruments, equipment, and staff are available.
3. Scrubbing and circulating for various procedures within your scope of practice, including elective, trauma, and emergency cases.
4. Communicating effectively with the surgical and multidisciplinary teams.
5. Supporting post-operative care and ensuring accurate documentation.
6. Participating in training and mentoring staff and students.
7. Organizing specialized equipment for procedures and communicating with relevant parties.
8. Completing clinical audits to ensure compliance.
