Job description

Applications are invited from Orthopaedic and MSK-experienced Physiotherapists to join our client's Inpatient and Outpatient team at their acute hospital site located in Kingston upon Thames, near Wimbledon and Richmond Park.

This is a part-time role of 19 hours per week. The salary is £47,000 FTE, pro-rata to £23,700 for 19 hours (£24.00/hr).

The role is split 50:50 between outpatient and inpatient work, with 85% orthopaedic cases. It includes one evening shift until 8 pm, one Saturday shift per month, and participation in the weekend rota.

The Outpatient Physiotherapy Clinic operates Monday – Thursday from 8 am to 8 pm, Friday from 8 am to 6 pm, and alternate Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm. The Inpatient service runs seven days a week.

The Physiotherapy department comprises four modern, spacious treatment rooms and a rehabilitation gym with specialist exercise equipment. The team members are full members of the CSP and HCPC, committed to continuous professional development, and utilize evidence-based approaches to ensure high standards of care.

The hospital is accessible via TfL and National Rail services and local buses. It is a leading provider of independent healthcare in the UK, working with eminent medical consultants and multidisciplinary specialists. Established in 1898, it offers exceptional surgical and orthopaedic care supported by state-of-the-art technology, including private GP services, multiple consultation and treatment rooms, a dedicated day surgery unit, private inpatient rooms, operating theatres, imaging facilities, and an on-site pharmacy.

Person requirements:

  • Full UK HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
  • Minimum of two years of full-time post-registration UK-based experience, including strong orthopaedic and MSK experience
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship required)
