You will maintain financial records, process transactions, issue invoices, and support reports to drive business operations. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of bookkeeping experience, a solid VAT/CIS knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to juggle priorities in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Previous bookkeeping experience (minimum 1 year).
• A good understanding of VAT and CIS returns.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with customers and suppliers.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including sales, purchases and expenses.
• Process financial transactions and post entries to the accounting system.
• Prepare and issue invoices.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Accurate data entry and maintaining internal financial databases.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve invoice and payment queries.
• Prepare financial reports to support the business.
• Complete and submit quarterly VAT returns.
• Prepare and submit monthly CIS returns.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
