Organisational Change Manager

£45K - £50K

12 Month FTC

Leeds

Role Overview:

Our client is looking for an Organisational Change Manager to lead the people side of a varied portfolio of transformation and improvement initiatives.

Working within a large and complex organisation, you will help teams prepare for, adopt and embed changes to systems, services, processes and ways of working. You will work closely with project teams, operational leaders and senior stakeholders to understand the impact of change and develop practical plans that support successful implementation.

This is a broad, people-focused change role offering exposure across the full change lifecycle. You will have the opportunity to influence how change is delivered, build trusted relationships across the organisation and ensure that transformation activity achieves lasting adoption rather than simply reaching implementation.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Lead the people and organisational change activity across a portfolio of transformation initiatives.
  • Assess how proposed changes will affect teams, roles, processes and ways of working.
  • Develop clear change-management, stakeholder-engagement and adoption plans.
  • Work with project teams and business leaders to define change requirements and priorities.
  • Identify stakeholder groups and build effective engagement approaches for each audience.
  • Facilitate workshops, impact-assessment sessions and change-planning meetings.
  • Translate complex project activity into clear, practical messages for employees and stakeholders.
  • Support leaders and managers in communicating and implementing change effectively.
  • Identify likely barriers to adoption and develop appropriate interventions.
  • Coordinate communication, training, readiness and implementation activity.
  • Monitor change readiness and provide clear reporting on risks, progress and adoption.
  • Evaluate the success of change initiatives and recommend improvements.
  • Coach stakeholders through periods of uncertainty, resistance and transition.
  • Promote consistent change-management practices across the organisation.
  • Contribute to the continued development of organisational change capability.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience delivering organisational change within a large, complex or multi-stakeholder environment.
  • A strong understanding of change-management principles and the full change lifecycle.
  • Experience completing stakeholder, readiness and people-impact assessments.
  • The ability to develop and deliver practical change and adoption plans.
  • Strong stakeholder-management skills, including experience working with senior leaders.
  • Confidence facilitating workshops and influencing groups with differing priorities.
  • The ability to communicate complex change in a clear and engaging way.
  • Experience supporting changes involving technology, processes, services or organisational structures.
  • A practical understanding of resistance, behavioural change and employee adoption.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
  • The confidence to challenge constructively and provide credible change advice.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with project, operational and specialist teams.

Own meaningful change activity

You will take responsibility for the people side of transformation initiatives, helping shape how changes are understood, introduced and embedded across the organisation.

Work across a varied portfolio

The organisation is delivering change across technology, services, processes and ways of working. This will give you broad exposure rather than limiting you to a single programme or type of transformation.

Influence senior stakeholders

You will work closely with leaders, project teams and operational stakeholders, providing advice on change impact, readiness, engagement and adoption.

Focus on lasting adoption

The role goes beyond communications and project updates. You will help ensure that employees understand what is changing, why it matters and what they need to do differently.

Develop your change-management career

You will join an established and collaborative change environment, with opportunities to strengthen your consulting, facilitation, stakeholder-management and organisational-development experience.

Make a visible impact

Your work will directly influence whether important transformation initiatives are successfully adopted and deliver their intended benefits.
