Job Summary:

Disney+ is The Walt Disney Company's Direct to Consumer video entertainment service. The service consists of long form and short form video built around six key content brands (Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Star) with an appealing and easy to use interface accessed across multiple platforms (e.g. televisions, mobile devices, PCs).

The Disney+ team is responsible for the day to day operation of Disney+ across Europe, Middle East and Africa, with a specific focus on customer acquisition and retention, marketing, partnerships, content programming, research and analytics.

The Organic Search Marketing Manager will play a key role in driving audience engagement and organic traffic for Disney+ through high-quality editorial content across web platforms. Based in London, t his role is responsible for managing EMEA's full content lifecycle for Explore Disney+ , a companion editorial destination on disneyplus.com designed to help consumers discover what to watch and support SEO .

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Commerce Marketing , the Organic Search Marketing Manager will oversee editorial planning, localization, SEO optimization, stakeholder management, and publishing planning and operations for the region , starting with the UK . They will ensure content meets local market needs while aligning with global brand, creative, and SEO standards.

Beyond the UK, this role also provides strategic guidance and hands-on support to local teams across EMEA, helping to scale SEO content production efforts efficiently and effectively throughout the region.

This role will also work closely with global and regional teams across Product , Marketing, Growth, PR, Legal, and Creative to ensure seamless execution , relevancy and amplification of content.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in digital publishing, SEO, and content marketing. They are comfortable working in matrixed organizations, thrive in fast-moving and evolving environments, combine creative instinct with a sharp analytical mindset and are passionate about delivering editorial experiences that inform and inspire audiences .

This is an office-based role with a hybrid setup: four days per week in our Hammersmith, London office, and one day remote.

The Opportunity & Responsibilities:

Program Operations

  • Create and maintain a rich editorial calendar for Explore Disney+ , starting with UK and expanding across EMEA, in partnership with local market teams.
  • Coordinate the localization and syndication of global articles, working with local editors or agencies to tailor titles, copy, and content to regional preferences.
  • Project manage creative asset development with the global SEO agency, ensuring deliverables for desktop, tablet, and mobile align with brand and design guidelines.
  • Oversee local content review and approval processes, liaising with key stakeholders such as Growth Marketing, PR, Creative, and Legal teams.
  • Track and report on website performance using internal dashboards and analytics tools.
  • Continuously improve publishing workflows to maintain operational efficiency.


SEO

  • Collaborate with the global SEO team to optimize all content for organic search.
  • Conduct keyword research to support both original and localized articles.
  • Use SEMrush (or equivalent tools) to track keyword rankings and assess content performance.


Growth & Marketing Integration

  • Partner with the global Product Marketing team and local Marketing leads to develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) plans.
  • Coordinate with local marketing teams to support the ongoing promotion of regional Explore Disney+ content .


The Experience We Require From You:

Must-Have:

  • Strong experience in organic search optimisation and/or web production
  • Working knowledge of creative asset management and experience working with design/creative teams.
  • Able to independently organize, break down, and structure complex problems
  • Experience using SEMrush or similar tooling
  • Experience writing SEO-friendly content
  • Skilled at juggling multiple projects in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
  • Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder and project management skills.


Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in global, EMEA, or local marketing teams.
  • Knowledge of the SVOD industry and/or a passion for entertainment and pop culture
  • International asset management experience
