Job summary

Lovable is seeking a technically oriented SEO lead to own organic search for lovable.dev. You’ll shape strategy, implement fixes in code, and ship AI-enhanced workflows that scale across guides, templates, and the blog.

You’ll own structured data, sitemaps, canonicals, hreflang, and internal linking at scale, with a hands-on approach to debugging rendering, crawling, and indexing. Expect ownership, high velocity, and impactful traffic growth.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in organic search at tech or SaaS companies, with AEO & SEO results in your current role.
• Deep, hands-on technical SEO—owning structured data, sitemaps, canonicals, hreflang, and internal linking at scale.
• AI-first workflow: build your own tools, workflows, and pages with AI without engineering support.
• Sharp content judgment and the willingness to cut what isn’t working.

Responsibilities

• Own organic search for lovable.dev across Google, AI Overviews, and AI assistants.
• Protect and grow search traffic as the site scales, relaunches, and changes.
• Build hub pages that win our highest-intent terms.
• Decide what stays, what gets refreshed, and what goes across guides, templates, the blog and more.
• Earn citations in AI answers, track them, and tie them to signups.
• Partner early with product marketing, design, and engineering so every launch is built to be found.

TL;DR - Search is being rebuilt in real time. People now find products through Google, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Claude etc. and nobody has the full playbook yet. You'll write it for Lovable. This is a technical role first: you'll set the strategy, then make the website updates, build the tools, and ship the fixes yourself.

This is a technical role

We're looking for someone with an engineer's instincts. You should be as comfortable in a crawl log, a render trace, or a pull request as you are working with a brand team on search optimised creative systems. Day to day, that means:

• 6+ years in organic search at tech or SaaS companies, with AEO & SEO results in your existing role

• Deep, hands-on technical SEO. You own structured data, sitemaps, canonicals, hreflang, and internal linking at scale. When rendering, crawling, or indexing breaks, you find out why and fix it in code yourself.

• AI-first workflow. You build your own tools, workflows and pages with AI without engineering support.

• Sharp content judgment and the willingness to cut what isn’t working.
