Our client is a leading luxury travel brand, specialising in exceptional, tailor-made travel experiences across some of the world's most extraordinary destinations. The business is investing in its digital capabilities to strengthen organic search as a key driver of customer acquisition and commercial growth.
They're now looking for an Organic Performance Manager to take ownership of the end-to-end SEO strategy, combining technical SEO, content optimisation and emerging AI/GEO opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of organic acquisition, improve commercial performance and manage a small team within an ambitious international business.
This is a commercially focused role where success will be measured against high-intent organic traffic, qualified enquiries, conversions and revenue contribution, rather than rankings or traffic volume alone.
The Opportunity
- Own and develop the entire SEO strategy for an established luxury travel brand with an international customer base.
- Play a pivotal role in reversing organic performance decline and driving sustainable, commercially focused growth.
- Combine hands-on technical SEO with wider strategic ownership across content, international search and AI/GEO.
- Shape the business's approach to emerging AI search platforms, including ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity.
- Manage and develop a small team whilst working closely with senior stakeholders across Marketing, Content, Product and Sales.
- Join an ambitious business with genuine autonomy to introduce new ideas, drive experimentation and influence organic growth strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an end-to-end SEO roadmap, prioritising opportunities across technical SEO, content, international search and AI/GEO.
- Conduct technical SEO audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, structured data and website performance, translating findings into actionable improvements.
- Use technical insights, keyword research and performance data to inform content strategy, landing-page optimisation and wider organic growth opportunities.
- Develop strategies to improve brand visibility and citations across AI-powered search platforms, including ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews.
- Analyse organic performance using GA4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Semrush and Ahrefs, connecting SEO activity to qualified leads, conversions and revenue.
- Work closely with Content, Marketing, Product and wider technical stakeholders to implement improvements across the website and customer journey.
- Lead experimentation across SEO, content and AI search, using commercial insights to prioritise activity and investment.
- Manage and mentor a small team, supporting their development and overseeing delivery against commercial objectives.
Your Profile
- 6+ years' SEO experience, ideally within a Senior SEO Manager, SEO Lead, Organic Performance Manager or similar position.
- Proven experience defining and owning a complete SEO strategy, rather than specialising exclusively in technical SEO or content.
- Strong hands-on technical SEO expertise, including website auditing, crawlability, indexation, site architecture and technical optimisation.
- Able to translate technical SEO findings into broader content, user experience and commercial growth opportunities.
- Strong understanding of content strategy, international SEO and emerging AI/GEO, with practical experience optimising organic search performance.
- Commercially and analytically strong, with experience connecting SEO activity to qualified traffic, lead generation, conversions and revenue.
- Confident using GA4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Semrush and Ahrefs, alongside familiarity with HTML/CSS and WordPress.
- Previous people management experience, with the ability to develop junior SEO specialists whilst remaining hands-on.
- Experience within luxury travel, hospitality or premium brands, whether in-house or managing luxury clients agency-side, would be preferred. We're equally interested in candidates from other sectors who understand high-value, considered-purchase customer journeys and can demonstrate measurable commercial impact.
- Comfortable operating autonomously, combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and cross-functional collaboration.
