The role requires solid plant knowledge, familiarity with garden machinery, and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience, an RHS Level 2 certificate, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit to share expertise

Qualifikationen

• 2 years proven work experience in a similar role.
• Holder of an RHS Level 2 Certificate in Horticulture or equivalent.
• Experience in the use of garden machinery.
• Comprehensive plant knowledge and ability to identify plants.
• Possess a high degree of attention to detail.
• Comprehensive knowledge of horticulture and practical techniques.
• Understanding of organic gardening and willingness to adapt.
• A practical gardener focused on aesthetics and teamwork.

Aufgaben

• Maintain designated garden areas with initiative and plan redevelopments with the Head Gardener.
• Assist with garden and landscape projects as required.
• Care for nursery plants and manage weekend rota in summer.
• Share knowledge with team, apprentices and volunteers.
• Work in variable conditions; protective clothing provided.
