Organic Dairy Herd Manager Job - Yorkshire

Herd manager role available in North Yorkshire!

Family-owned, organic farm, calving 500 Friesian cows over Summer. We are a grass-based dairy farm, rearing all of our calves either as replacements or beef which we finish ourselves. Cows are housed in cubicles and straw yards over Winter and milked through a 36 unit herringbone parlour with ACRs, auto-drafting gate and heat detection technology.

We are looking for a cow-focused, hands-on herd manager, with experience managing cows.

We run a 5-day working week and offer a 4-bedroom house as accommodation with good local amenities and a school bus route on the doorstep.
