Organic Dairy Farm Manager job - Wiltshire
We are an Organic dairy farm with 150 cows and 40 followers in Wiltshire. We are looking for an ambitious farm manager to take on the management of the farm.
This is a very hands-on job and includes:
- Managing a team of 3 people (includes 1 herdsman and 1 tractor driver)
- Sole responsibility for tractor driving including bedding, feeding, servicing machinery etc
- Overseeing the management of the herd
- Managing the grazing and forage land
The successful applicant will need the following skills:
- Previous experience in herd and farm management
- Farm with very high levels of animal welfare
- An interest in organic farming
The position comes with a 3-bedroom house.
Job can start as soon as possible.
Job Length: Permanent
Pay: £3,300 (plus house included)
