Envirolab is an analytical laboratory with an outstanding track record for delivering analysis competitively and on time. The company provides environmental analytical services predominately of soil and groundwater samples.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out technical work in accordance with Envirolab procedures
  • Covering the day to day instrument operations
  • Ensure all work completed is according to UKAS and Envirolab QMS requirements
  • Calibration of all laboratory equipment
  • Carry out and document regular instrument maintenance
  • Process, calculate and check analytical results
  • Assist in sample preparation for various analysis
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping

Person specification:

The ideal candidate will be an experienced user of one or more of GC-MS, GCxGC, GC-MS Headspace, GCFID , including troubleshooting and maintenance.

The successful candidate may also need to assist in method development and Validation so any relevant experience would be an advantage.

Assistance in other parts of the laboratory may also be required.
