Job summary

The successful candidate will have a degree, GCSE Maths and English, strong piano accompaniment, organ ability, and excellent sight-reading, with a positive, professional approach and willingness to take feedback for continual improvement.

Qualifications

• Candidate educated to degree level with GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/Level 4 (or equivalent).
• Competent piano accompanist skills with ability to play the organ to a high standard.
• Excellent sight-reading skills are essential with a commitment to developing as a musician.
• Demonstrates initiative, professionalism and a positive attitude towards learning, with openness to feedback.

Responsibilities

• The post-holder will work in the Music Departments of St Mary’s Church and King’s High School and be fully involved in the musical life of both institutions.
• They will be expected to undertake reasonable administrative duties in both settings.
