About the opportunity

Join our Finance Vertical as Order to Cash Administrator in Newcastle to make a real impact every day. We know that every conversation we have, every code line we write, and every interface we design is an opportunity to enrich our customers’ experiences.

Reporting to Order to Cash Assistant Manager, you will manage the sales ledger and oversee the end-to-end revenue cycle—from processing customer orders and ensuring accurate subscription billing to overseeing collections and supporting revenue recognition. You will act as a bridge between finance, sales, and customer success teams, helping to streamline operations, maintain data integrity, and deliver a seamless billing experience that supports scalable growth.

Some of your responsibilities include:

  1. Carrying out month-end tasks to tight deadlines
  2. Managing all sales ledger and credit control tasks
  3. Running month-end reporting on debt and ECL, including credit risk
  4. Managing mailbox and escalated queries – both internal and external
  5. Managing month-end bank reconciliation related to Order to Cash postings
  6. Contract maintenance and invoicing of customers
  7. Completing audit checks/tasks
  8. Day-to-day finance processing
  9. Reporting projects and process improvements to the Order to Cash Manager
  10. Managing escalations to the Order to Cash Manager
  11. Reviewing and reconciling integrations from platforms/Salesforce to Netsuite to ensure invoicing integrity
  12. Creating/reviewing SOPs where needed
  13. Approving bank payments

Location: This role offers a hybrid and flexible working model, with three days per week in the Newcastle office and two days working from home.

Required qualifications:

  • AAT Level 3 (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience in a finance role, possibly in Accounts Payable, looking to move into Accounts Receivable
  • Proven credit control experience with key accounts in a B2B setting
  • Knowledge of sales ledger and bookkeeping
  • Customer-centric approach with flexibility to handle overdue credit accounts without risking customer relationships
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with process improvement and system development
  • Experience with Stripe (not essential)
  • Experience creating SOPs
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with tactful telephone manner
  • Self-driven with high standards for resolution seeking
