Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd is recruiting for an order picking role in Goldthorpe, S63. The position is temp ongoing with a 09:30 start, typically 8–10 hours per shift and a monthly 5/7 rota requiring weekend work. Pay is £14.58 per hour, with on-site breaks, parking, and onsite refreshments.

Candidates should have prior order picking experience, be physically fit, and able to work flexible shifts. Transport or local residence is needed due to shift times and site location.

Job description

This role is perfect for candidates with relevant experience in order picking within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position requires physical stamina as it involves demanding manual work, you will be responsible for accurately picking products using a voice headset and operating a low level order picker (LLOP).

The Role:

• Achieving daily pick rates/KPI's

• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Make sure products are secured, marked up correctly, and in the correct area for dispatch.
• Very physically demanding.
• Ensure the workplace is kept clean and tidy and ensure all spillages/breakages are cleared immediately.

Requirements:

• Previous order picking experience
• Must live locally or have own means of transport due to shift times
• Good physical fitness and stamina
• Reliable and punctual attitude
• Available to work 5 days a week, including weekends
