Job description

The Recruitment Co are recruiting for Order Pickers for a large distribution site based in Ashton-In-Makerfield.

Candidates will be trained in-house to use LLOP trucks, so candidates must be comfortable with this.

Responsibilities include order picking using an LLOP truck and handballing work.

The shift pattern options are:

1. Days: 7am-7pm, 4 days on, 4 days off; or 3 days on, 3 days off, on a continuing basis.
2. Nights: 7pm-7am, 4 nights on, 4 nights off; or 3 nights on, 3 nights off, on a continuing basis.

Candidates must be available to work some weekend shifts.

The pay rates include a pick bonus scheme after completing 4 weeks of training. Bonuses range from £0.15 to £3.75 per hour, depending on pick rates achieved. For example, achieving 86% of your pick target earns £0.15 per hour, while achieving 110% earns £3.75 per hour. There are 25 increments, increasing by £0.15 for each additional percentage of the pick target achieved.
