Please note this role is 100% onsite and would involve working from our warehouse with our Deel IT team, in-person.

Summary

The Order Operations Manager is a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of Deel IT’s solutions to its customers globally. You will oversee a team of Order Operations Administrators and be responsible for the speed, efficiency, accuracy, and quality of the order management process and ROW procurement activities. You will be responsible for developing operational strategies, driving process improvements, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire order lifecycle, ensuring accurate processing and timely delivery within SLAs.
  • Manage order processing, final mile delivery, reverse logistics, transfers, and device lifecycle management.
  • Address order fulfillment issues and serve as the escalation point for complex customer inquiries.
  • Monitor team workload, prioritize tasks, and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with inventory and procurement teams to align orders with stock and demand, managing backorders and delays.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Order Operations Administrators, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with logistics providers, warehouses, procurement partners, and repair services.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance order management efficiency and customer experience.
  • Monitor KPIs such as order cycle time, accuracy, and customer satisfaction, using data to optimize fulfillment processes.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably within a fast-paced start-up logistics environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communicator, capable of liaising effectively with global stakeholders and adapting communication styles to diverse audiences.
  • Data-driven decision-maker with a track record of using metrics to drive operational improvements.
  • A proactive problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic, scaling organization.
  • Familiarity with order management systems and tools is a plus.
