Job description

Our client is looking for an Order Fulfilment Coordinator to join its fast-paced operations team. Based in Burnley, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring customer orders are managed efficiently and delivered on time — from initial placement to final dispatch.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and analyse order updates using internal reports
  • Coordinate with suppliers, couriers, and warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries
  • Track consignments and allocate goods accurately to orders
  • Troubleshoot undelivered or delayed shipments
  • Follow up on uncollected customer collections
  • Monitor and communicate order cut-off times
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve order-related system issues
  • Prepare commercial invoices for international/export orders
  • Prioritise and escalate urgent or high-value orders
  • Assist in print scheduling and production planning
  • Contribute to business-wide continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in order fulfilment, sales order processing, or operations administration
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Problem-solver with the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Proficient in ERP/order management systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Comfortable analysing data and identifying process improvements
  • Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams
