Job description

Job Title: Orchestra Manager

The Scottish National Jazz Orchestra (SNJO) is Scotland’s professional contemporary and classic jazz ensemble and is the only truly national orchestra in the UK.

The SNJO is seeking an Orchestra Manager to oversee daily management and administrative support, ensuring smooth operations of both the SNJO and the Tommy Smith Youth Jazz Orchestra (TSYJO).

The successful candidate will assist the Board of Trustees in fulfilling their strategic and operational responsibilities.

This role is ideal for an exceptionally organized, self-motivated individual passionate about the Arts, especially Jazz. It offers a broad scope including fundraising, planning, production, marketing, and advocacy to promote the orchestras' growth and success.

Hours: 35 hours per week. Part-time options may be considered. Weekend and evening work are required for tours and events.
