Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking an Orbital Analyst to support Space Situational Awareness (SSA) and Space Domain Awareness (SDA) duties for UK and international stakeholders. The role focuses on monitoring UK-licensed objects and critical spacecraft, delivering timely technical analyses and outputs to inform decision-making. The position offers onsite, hybrid or remote options with travel across the UK as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physics, mathematics, engineering or related science.
• Experience in Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) and SSA.
• Ability to develop and validate SSA/SST analysis tools.
• Excellent written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide technical expertise on SDA/SSA projects.
• Develop SDA/SSA tools and define processes.
• Define technical requirements to integrate new SDA sensors.
• Support customers with technical advice on SDA capabilities.
• Collaborate with UK space industry and global partners.
