Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an Oracle Tax Functional Consultant for a remote contract opportunity in the UK. You will lead the functional delivery of Oracle Tax implementations, focusing on indirect tax configuration and deployment across the full project lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12 eBTax and/or Oracle Fusion Tax, plus the ability to translate requirements into effective tax solutions and engage directly with stakeholders to drive successful implementation.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12 eBTax and/or Fusion Tax.
• Ability to independently design, configure and deliver Oracle Tax solutions.
• Understanding of indirect tax processes, especially VAT/GST.
• Experience delivering end-to-end Oracle ERP implementations—from requirements through deployment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills around tax configuration and determination.
• Confident engaging with stakeholders to manage functional delivery.

Length: Initial 6 months

I am working with a client currently looking for an experienced Oracle Tax Functional Consultant to support the delivery of Oracle ERP implementation projects, with a particular focus on indirect tax functionality.

This is a hands-on contract opportunity suited to someone with strong experience configuring and implementing Oracle EBS R12 eBTax and/or Oracle Fusion Tax, who is comfortable taking ownership of functional delivery from initial requirements through to deployment.

The Opportunity

This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of Oracle Tax functional delivery, working on implementation projects requiring specialist configuration and problem-solving expertise.

We are particularly interested in consultants who have personally configured and implemented Oracle Tax solutions, rather than those whose experience has primarily involved managing or overseeing a functional workstream.
