As the Oracle Solutions Lead you will lead the technical configuration, development and on-going process improvement of HR IT Systems to satisfy business requirements and assure quality throughout the development life-cycle. Provides technical support and coaching to the HR systems development team. Uses previous experience to recommend improvements to process and opportunities to automate processes across the Oracle HCM system.

Some of the great things you’ll be doing:
• Owns and drives the strategic roadmap for Oracle HRIS systems, ensuring alignment with organisational goals, workforce planning, and digital transformation initiatives
• Provides functional and technical direction and advice across all HRIS platforms (with a focus on Oracle HCM), acting as the senior escalation point for system performance, integrations, and configuration governance
• Partners with senior HR, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to identify and deliver system enhancements, ensuring solutions are scalable, compliant, and user-focused
• Leads the end-to-end lifecycle of HR technology projects, including discovery, prioritisation, design governance, resource planning, and post-implementation support
• HRIS change advisory and governance to oversee change controls, release planning, and continuous improvement activities
• Manages vendor and partner relationships (e.g., Oracle, implementation partners) including contract reviews, service performance, and roadmap alignment
• Assists in developing, mentoring, and supporting junior team members, building internal HRIS capability and establishing best practices in knowledge management and solution design
• Monitors and reports on system performance metrics, user adoption trends, and optimisation opportunities, informing leadership decisions through data-led insights
• Ensures full compliance with data security, GDPR, and audit requirements, embedding robust controls and documentation standards across all system activities

What we’d like to see from you:
• Expert knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM System configuration including HR administration and self service functionality
• Expert knowledge of Oracle BI administration and configuration
• Expert knowledge Oracle fast formula and workforce structures
• Expert working knowledge of payroll systems and processes
• Significant experience working with system integrations
• Excellent knowledge of the Oracle security model
• Excellent experience of Oracle Taleo and ORC system configuration
• Strong mentoring and coaching skills
• Ability to work autonomously and prioritise work schedules
