Overview

Role Title: Oracle / RDS DBA

Location: Remote

Duration: 17/12/2025

Rate: £575 per day - PAYE via Umbrella Only

Responsibilities

• Move on-premise Oracle DB (Solaris) into AWS RDS Oracle (RDS experience and RHET).
• Work with RDS and File share on SAAS demands proficiency in cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), data migration, and automation scripting (PowerShell, Shell).
• Configure and manage relational databases, file storage protocols (NFS, SMB), and backup strategies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, tagging for cost optimisation, and security compliance.
• Familiarity with DevOps, observability tools, and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of business process flows, integration patterns, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful implementation and support.
