Job Title: Oracle R12 Support Engineer - Assets And Projects
Location: Remote with occasional to office in Paddington, Reading, Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds
Salary/Rate: £550 to £586 a day Inside IR35
Start Date: May / June
Job Type: 6 Month Contract (with scope to extend)

Company Introduction

We are looking for an Oracle R12 Support engineer with a strong background in Assets and Project to join our client in the Telecoms industry.

*The successful candidate must be able to commute to the office when required in Paddington, Reading, Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds*

You will be a key member within the Finance Systems Teams, delivering an ERP Service to the Business. This includes business support, systems analysis, training and implementation of new developments. This will be across P2P, O2C, R2R, Payroll, Procurement, Employee Expenses, Fixed Assets and Projects.

Your role will be to standardise and transform the systems to deliver key services and lead/assist delivery of enhancements and Projects in a timely right first time manner in line with the organisations wider goals.

  • Strong communications skills and credibility operating at all levels of the organisation (Analyst through to Director)
  • Able to prioritise and juggle workload
  • User experience and process understanding to deliver to internal customer expectations
  • Experience of working with third party teams from a support and process perspective
  • Tenacious and focused on outcomes with quality and compliance high on the agenda
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and adopt innovative delivery mechanisms
  • Excellent knowledge or Oracle R12 Projects and Assets modules
  • Strong interpersonal skills, getting best out of teams and people.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

  • Deliver day to day support of Oracle ERP services across the various instances and modules, ensuring integrity and accuracy of information within the system
  • Manage services from the companies outsource partners to achieve business requirements. Holding Partners to account, including periodic reviews, contracts SLA and KPI management along with capacity management and disaster recovery planning
  • Communicating key plans, requirements, solutions, dependencies, risks and issues and ensuring resources to support delivery are available.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements, and initiating activities from seeking approval to delivery
  • Ensuring month end services deliver at critical times for Finance as well as ERP
  • Assist in execution of SOX Controls
  • Key role within the OneERP Programme, that will consolidate existing multiple ERP systems into a new SaaS based application
  • Be centre of knowledge for how things work from a systems perspective particularly in the Projects and Fixed Asset space
