The Team

The Powered Apps teams are communities of technology focussed professionals who work together to deliver KPMG Powered Enterprise through a standardised delivery model, which drives professional delivery to clients. The teams use their functional knowledge and experience (Finance, HR, Procurement), coupled with their expertise in the cloud applications (Oracle, Workday, ServiceNow HRSD, Coupa) to lead and deliver client programmes, support pre-sales activities and develop improvement and extensions to Powered Enterprise.

The Role

As our Powered HR practice continues to grow, we are seeking talented individuals with experience of Oracle implementations. This is a high-profile role within the team, requiring a balance of business development / sales origination and client delivery.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  1. Lead the delivery of high-quality Oracle Payroll and HCM deployment projects as an Engagement Manager.
  2. Provide specialist Oracle advice and work closely with client leads to optimise processes and maximise benefits.
  3. Advise clients on the transformational aspects of Oracle related to HR operating models, self-service, service delivery, portals, virtual agents, and HR processes such as Onboarding, Absence Management, Payroll, Offboarding.
  4. Contribute to business development and sales initiatives including bids, proposals, and negotiations with Oracle clients.
  5. Support the growth of the Powered HR practice through knowledge sharing, thought leadership, and mentoring team members.
  6. Advise on technical integration of Oracle with other client and third-party applications like payroll, benefits, and finance systems.
  7. Assist with data migration and ensuring data integrity during deployments.
  8. Coordinate with stakeholders across Powered HR and other teams to explore opportunities and maximize offerings.
  9. Model leadership by exemplifying company values and principles.
  10. Support goal development and coaching for team members to foster growth within the practice.

Experience Required

  • Proven experience in delivering Oracle Payroll and HCM programs.
  • Advanced functional understanding of Oracle products.
  • Experience in Payroll and HR transformation projects, leading workstreams, and managing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Payroll and HR processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with other HCM cloud products such as ServiceNow or SuccessFactors (desirable).
  • Comfortable working with agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical skills to clarify complex issues and synthesize large information sets.
  • Experience in a functional and/or technical role in HR systems delivery.
  • Experience producing project deliverables like business requirements, functional specs, process flows, etc.
  • Ability to transfer knowledge effectively and adapt approaches as needed.
  • Quick learner of new technologies.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Knowledge of HR, Recruitment, Payroll, Time Tracking, or Case Management applications is advantageous.
  • Experience as a configuration expert or project manager in enterprise software deployments.

Qualifications

  • Degree-level education.
  • Oracle Certifications (desirable).
  • ServiceNow / Workday Certifications (desirable).
