Job description

Role: Oracle HR Functional Lead
Contract Length: Until March 2026
Location: Hybrid/London – 3 days in central London, 2 days remote
IR35: Inside
Pay Rate to Intermediary: £650 per day

Spinwell is recruiting for an Oracle HR Functional Lead for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

Responsibilities of the Oracle HR Functional Lead
  • Help shape and support the development of Workforce solutions that improve People and System processes by providing subject matter expertise, guidance, advice, and input into architectural, technical, and business solutions.
  • Work closely with Workforce Planning teams to document requirements around modelling, analysing, and forecasting MPS workforce needs, identifying workforce gaps to inform growth plans and talent strategies.
  • Provide insight and oversight of BAU change, ensuring alignment with Programme direction and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand the impacts of potential technical solutions on Workforce-related systems, challenging assumptions and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ensure solution requirements are fit for purpose and aligned with the strategic direction of the programme, covering the needs of Met Shared Services and aligning with BPO/Service requirements.
  • Support the development of Workforce reporting solutions that meet the needs of the function and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships across MSS Programme, People, and other key stakeholder groups.
  • Work with external consultants and suppliers to review and deliver solutions for People processes.
  • Identify and improve touchpoints between Workforce Applications and integrate with other non-Workforce solutions.
  • Lead organisational workforce systems change and transformation in complex environments.
  • Work confidently with multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions within an Agile environment.
Skills and Experience of the Oracle HR Functional Lead
  • Experience with Oracle HR Cloud
  • Ideally, experience with Strategic Workforce Planning / EPM
  • Strong senior stakeholder management skills
  • Fusion knowledge is a significant advantage
