Job summary

A leading global IT recruitment business is looking for two Oracle HCM Support Analysts to join their IT Team in Birmingham. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Oracle Fusion HCM, supporting UK payrolls, and working closely with HR and IT stakeholders to meet organizational needs. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience with UK payrolls and proficiency in Oracle tools.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience and understanding of the Oracle Platform, specifically HCM and Approval Workflows.
  • Minimum 3 years supporting UK Oracle payrolls.
  • Experience with third-party time and attendance system interfacing to payroll.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain approval workflows within Oracle Fusion HCM modules.
  • Assist in the implementation and integration of new features and functionalities.
  • Document and communicate system changes and updates to stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to support processes.
  • Provide technical and functional support for Oracle Fusion HCM modules.

Job description

Description: We have an exciting opportunity for two Oracle HCM Support Analysts to join our award-winning IT Team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Application Support Manager, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Oracle Fusion HCM. You will collaborate with HR, IT, and Business Stakeholders to understand and address user needs and requirements. We manage two UK payrolls for a 50,000-headcount organisation.

Key Skills Required:
  • Significant experience and understanding of the Oracle Platform, specifically HCM and Approval Workflows.
  • Minimum 3 years supporting UK Oracle payrolls.
  • Minimum 3 years supporting Core HR, Absence Management, and Payroll modules.
  • Experience with third-party time and attendance system interfacing to payroll.
  • Proficiency with Oracle Tools: APEX, OTBI, BIPublisher, SQL, and PL/SQL for database management.
Responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining approval workflows within Oracle Fusion HCM modules, including managing two UK payrolls for a 50,000-headcount organisation.
  • Assisting in the implementation and integration of new features and functionalities.
  • Documenting and communicating system changes and updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation related to support processes, including Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans, and cross-training team members.
  • Monitoring and optimizing reporting solutions, troubleshooting issues, and resolving data extraction problems. Providing technical and functional support for Oracle Fusion HCM modules (Core HR, Employee Self Service, Manager Self Service, Absence Management, UK Payroll), including modifying payroll fast formulas and absence plans.
