Robert Half is supporting their client, a Global Consulting Firm, in their search for an Oracle Fusion Programme Test Manager to become an associate and lead testing efforts for a comprehensive transformation programme within a large Higher Education institution.

This programme, valued at approximately £10-20M, focuses on enhancing university operations and technology platforms, particularly around Oracle Fusion, to drive efficiency, compliance, and agility across the institution.

Duration: Initial 6 months (with potential extension)

The Oracle Fusion Test Manager will be instrumental in overseeing the testing strategy and execution for the Oracle Fusion implementation. The role will involve close collaboration with both technical and business teams to ensure all testing phases are completed effectively. Responsibilities include:

• Test Strategy and Management: Lead the development and implementation of the testing strategy for the Oracle Fusion platform, ensuring alignment with programme goals.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including university departments, to understand business needs and ensure testing processes meet those requirements.
• Defect and Issue Management: Oversee defect identification, documentation, and resolution processes, ensuring timely remediation and reporting.
• Higher Education Focus: Ensure that the testing phases align with the unique needs and objectives of the higher education sector, particularly in supporting large-scale programmes.
• Training Support: Work alongside training teams to provide insights from testing that can enhance user training and adoption of new systems.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all testing activities meet quality assurance standards and that the Oracle Fusion platform supports seamless business process integration within the university environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Test Manager within large-scale transformation programmes, ideally with a focus on Oracle Fusion.
• Extensive experience working in the higher education sector, particularly on programmes around £20M in value.
• Strong leadership skills in defect management, stakeholder communication, and business process understanding.
