Job summary

Defence Business Services (DBS) is seeking a Functional Payroll Software Developer to design, develop, test and support Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud payroll solutions for Defence personnel and employees. You will work with payroll specialists, stakeholders and technical teams to implement enhancements, statutory changes and major transformation initiatives.

You will configure payroll components, develop Fast Formula, and ensure secure, well-documented solutions aligned with government standards.

Qualifications

Experience configuring and developing Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll solutions.
Understanding of payroll processes and payroll legislation.
Experience in public sector payroll environment.
End-to-end payroll delivery and operational support.
Ability to analyse business requirements and translate into system solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll solutions to meet business needs.
Configure payroll elements, balances, calculations and related components.
Develop and maintain Fast Formula and related payroll functionality.
Ensure solutions are thoroughly tested, documented and peer reviewed.
Support legislative changes, pay awards and transformation programmes.
