Job summary

Brook Street is seeking an Oracle Accounting Specialist in Horsham on a 12-month contract. The role requires strong Oracle Fusion expertise, with deep knowledge of GL, AP, AR, fixed assets and cash management, and a focus on process improvement and scalable finance processes.

You will optimize end-to-end accounting, drive standardisation, and partner with multiple regions to implement robust control frameworks while resolving backlogs and supporting month-end close.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Oracle Fusion Financials in a finance function.
• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, FA and Cash Management modules.
• Experience with Project Costing and Project Financial Management.
• Proven ability to lead month-end close and reconciliations.
• Track record in process improvement and control design.

Responsibilities

• Review end-to-end finance processes to identify inefficiencies and gaps.
• Resolve complex accounting matters including accruals and reconciliations.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and backlogs.
• Support day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close activities.
• Drive standardisation and automation of finance processes.
• Develop process documentation with clear ownership and controls.
• Design Oracle-aligned accounting processes and control frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across regions.
