Job summary

First Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced Oracle Accounting Specialist to support a major finance project following a recent migration. You will be the go-to Oracle expert, advising colleagues and supporting processes across multiple sites.

The role is hybrid with 2–3 days in Horsham and requires strong system knowledge. The ideal candidate has Oracle Fusion Financials experience and solid GL/AP/AR/PA responsibilities, plus ticketing and stakeholder-management skills.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, FA and PC.
• Experience managing finance processes, reconciliations and month-end activities.
• Experience raising and managing tickets.
• Confident advising and training users on Oracle systems.

Oracle Accounting Specialist

Horsham Hybrid (2-3 Days in the Office) Full-Time 12-Month Contract Immediate Start

We are recruiting for an experienced Oracle Accounting Specialist to support a major finance project following a recent Oracle migration. This is a hands-on role focused on resolving system challenges, supporting users, improving processes and helping to stabilise finance operations across multiple sites. The successful candidate will become the go-to Oracle expert, advising, supporting and guiding colleagues on the effective use of Oracle across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert support and guidance on Oracle Fusion Financials.
• Assist users with Oracle-related queries and system issues.
• Raise and manage support tickets.
• Support Fixed Assets, Project Costing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger activities.
• Assist with reconciliations, accruals and month-end processes.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Improve and document finance processes and procedures.
• Support multiple sites remotely, with no external travel required.

Essential Experience

• Previous Oracle Fusion Financials experience.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets and Project Costing.
• Experience managing finance processes, reconciliations and month-end activities.
• Previous experience raising and managing tickets.
• Confident supporting, advising and training users on Oracle systems.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Details

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30am to 5:00pm
• 38.75 hours per week
• Hybrid working, 2-3 days per week in the Horsham office
• Immediate start available
• 12-month assignment

Due to the location of the site, candidates must have access to their own transport and be able to commute reliably to Horsham.
