Job summary

Gravitas Recruitment Group (Global) Ltd is seeking an experienced Oracle Financials Technical Consultant for a 12-month contract in the UK. The role focuses on supporting and migrating Oracle EBS modules to OCI, delivering cloud-enabled Financials solutions with strong technical leadership.

You will manage technical analysis, design, development and post-migration support, ensuring cloud readiness of interfaces and integrations while collaborating with finance, infrastructure and implementation

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2.x and its Financials modules.
• Proven ability to deliver Oracle implementation or upgrade projects.
• Exposure to OCI migrations or cloud transformation programmes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and BAU operation across Oracle EBS modules (iProcurement, iExpenses, Purchasing, AP, GL, AR, FA).
• Develop, maintain and enhance Oracle EBS Release 12.2.x solutions ensuring availability and performance.
• Lead migration activities from on-premises to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Participate in technical analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and post-migration support.
• Collaborate with Finance, Infra, Tech teams, partners and vendors to deliver cloud migration success.
• Analyse customisations, interfaces and integrations ensuring cloud readiness.
• Document current technical architecture, support processes and system configurations.
• Contribute to design reviews, impact assessments and migration planning.
• Identify opportunities to modernise and improve resilience within the cloud environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the Oracle Financials estate.

12 MONTH CONTRACT - Oracle Financials Technical Consultant. Financial Modules include but not limited to; iExp, iProc, AR, GL, AP, PO, FA etc. EBS TO CLOUD MIGRATION EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL. £700-£775/DAY INSIDE IR35 PAY ON OFFER.

Role entails the following

• Provide technical support and BAU operation across Oracle EBS modules, including iProcurement, iExpenses, Purchasing (PO), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets (FA).
• Develop, maintain and enhance Oracle EBS Release 12.2.x solutions, ensuring high levels of system availability, performance and stability.
• Play a key technical role in the migration of Oracle Financials from on-premises infrastructure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Participate in technical analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment and post-migration support.
• Work closely with Finance, Infrastructure, Technology teams, implementation partners and third-party vendors to deliver a successful cloud migration.
• Analyse existing customisations, interfaces and integrations, ensuring they are optimised and cloud-ready.
• Document current technical architecture, support processes and system configurations to improve long-term maintainability.
• Contribute to technical design reviews, impact assessments and migration planning activities.
• Identify opportunities to modernise, improve resilience and optimise Oracle Financials within the new cloud environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the Oracle Financials estate.

About You

You'll be an experienced Oracle Financials Technical Consultant who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while taking ownership of critical business systems.

You will have:

• Strong experience supporting and developing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Release 12.2.x.
• Excellent technical knowledge across Oracle Financials modules, particularly iProcurement, iExpenses, Purchasing, AP, AR, GL and Fixed Assets.
• Experience delivering Oracle implementation or upgrade projects.
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) migrations or cloud transformation programmes essential.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A collaborative approach and a strong sense of ownership for the applications you support.
