Next Ventures is seeking an experienced Oracle Solution Architect for a new, long-term Oracle Cloud implementation with our client, a consultancy, in the UK.

Job title: Oracle Cloud Solution Architect

Start Date: Immediate/ASAP

Location: United Kingdom

Duration: 10 months + extensions

Job Description:

• Lead the design and implementation of Oracle ERP solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
• Develop detailed system architectures and roadmaps, incorporating industry standards and best practices to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with business leaders, functional teams, and IT to understand requirements and translate them into effective ERP solutions.
• Oversee customization and integration of ERP software to meet business needs and ensure smooth integration with other enterprise applications (CRM, BI tools, etc.).
• Recommend and implement ERP best practices for configuration, governance, data migration, and testing.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members during ERP development and implementation.
• Stay updated on ERP industry trends and technology advancements, advising on system improvements and upgrades for the client and functional teams.

Skills & experience:

• In-depth knowledge of Oracle ERP Workstreams (finance, HR, supply chain, etc.) and their integration.
• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle ERP Solution Architect or similar role, with a strong understanding of ERP systems.
• Experience/Knowledge of Oracle Revenue Management, Subscription Management, and Product Information Management.
• Strong experience in system integration, database management, and cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in ERP implementation methodologies and project management.
• Solid understanding of business processes across finance, manufacturing, logistics, and sales.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
