Job Title: Oracle EPM Cloud ARCSArchitect

Employment type: Permanent

Join a multinational group as part of their IT Finance team. The company is undergoing a major Digital Finance Transformation programme on both finance process and technology sides.

The business is heavily focused on Oracle technology, including ERP and EPM stack. As part of the EPM team, the company has rolled out Oracle EPM ARCS to support with transaction matching and specifically client fund reconciliation and Balance Sheet reconciliation.

To enable this, we are seeking a Lead Oracle EPM ARCS Architect. The role will have a main focus on both project implementation and supporting the operations as well once up and running. It is a hybrid role which requires very strong finance understanding as well as technical knowledge of the ARCS solution and wider EPM and IT Finance stack.

What will I be doing?

  • Oracle EPM ARCS Leadership: Oversee the support and development of the Oracle EPM ARCS module, focusing on Reconciliation Compliance and Transaction Matching.
  • Strategic Vision: Contribute to the design of the strategic vision and roadmap for EPM ARCS.
  • Requirement Gathering: Lead workshops to gather business requirements and document functional specifications.
  • Data Flow Design: Design and implement data flows between ARCS and other financial systems.
  • ARCS Administration: Assist with the administration, development, enhancements, and support of ARCS.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze and assess existing reconciliation processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization within Oracle EPM ARCS.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with accounting and finance teams to understand business requirements, translate them into ARCS configurations, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Long-term Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term strategies for ARCS usage and integration with other financial systems.
  • System Enhancements: Identify opportunities for system enhancements, process automation, and optimization in collaboration with functional teams.
  • Documentation: Document technical configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides, maintaining a knowledge base for internal use.
  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of Oracle EPM ARCS updates and new features, recommending system improvements and upgrades.
  • User Training: Lead user training sessions, develop training materials, and support change management efforts to drive user adoption and proficiency in ARCS.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Experience

  • University degree in IT, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Must have knowledge of Oracle EPM ARCS, specifically being able to align business processes to technical capabilities of product.
  • 6+ years of professional experience around Oracle EPM
  • At least one project delivered on ARCS
  • People management – has coached and developed small teams.
  • Skills in EPM Data Management is a plus
  • ODI and SQL knowledge are a plus
