Oracle EBS Functional Specialist - HR / Payroll

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a strong knowledge of the HR/Payroll Module within Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) version 12.2.9. Responsible for resolving functional incidents and problems, as well as designing, developing, testing, UAT, and rolling out enhancements and additions to the HR/Payroll module.
2. Support existing EBS configurations, customizations, and extensions, responding to support calls, investigating root causes, and managing Service Requests and Bugs with Oracle.
3. Design and develop small-scale fixes and enhancement requests, ensuring delivery within agreed timescales.
4. Lead the design, development, testing, UAT, and rollout of software enhancements for EBS modules.
5. Provide user guidance primarily on Payroll, and also on modules like HR, OTL, OPA, or Self Service, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and problems.

What do you need?

1. Experience working with senior business users to gather and analyze requirements, and produce accurate specifications.
2. Experience supporting project and enhancement releases, implementing regulatory and statutory requirements, security patches, and software upgrades to the EBS Payroll module, including involvement in testing phases.
3. Technical skills including basic Oracle SQL, Workflow development, and familiarity with Release 12 of Oracle eBusiness HRMS applications, OA Framework, BI Publisher, and SQL Developer.
4. Knowledge of Oracle Cloud is advantageous but not essential.
5. Strong ownership skills and the ability to work under pressure.
