Job summary

Atos is seeking a skilled Oracle DBA for database environments and cloud migrations. You will build and maintain Oracle databases, perform migrations, and ensure data integrity while supporting performance tuning and incident resolution.

The role requires 3+ years of Oracle DBA experience, plus MSSQL administration, with a focus on secure, reliable data services. Hybrid working in the UK with a base location in Manchester-based hub is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Strong experience in Oracle database administration.
• Expertise in data migration, validation, and reconciliation.
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
• Proven ability to ensure data integrity and database reliability.
• Experience with MSSQL (SQL Server) administration.

Provides database engineering and administration for the migration - building, tuning and migrating databases (notably Oracle) into the cloud platform while protecting data integrity.

Key responsibilities

Skills We Can’t Do Without:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Strong experience in Oracle database administration.
• Expertise in data migration, validation, and reconciliation.
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
• Proven ability to ensure data integrity and database reliability.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) administration.
• Must have excellent communication skills including written, verbal and presentation

Location:

On-site 3 days/week at a base location - Benton Park View (Newcastle), Manchester Corporate Hub, or Peel Park (Blackpool); hybrid. Standard 8-hour day, Mon-Fri

To be eligible for SC clearance, you must have lived and worked in the UK continuously for the past 5 years.
