Job summary

Family Building Society is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our Core Banking Services team. You will manage and enhance Oracle environments, support backup and disaster recovery, strengthen security, and help automate essential processes.

You will bring hands-on experience with Oracle Data Guard, RMAN, database cloning, Unix/Linux, SQL and PL/SQL, along with a careful approach and a passion for solving complex problems.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Guard, RMAN, and database cloning.
• Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL development and tuning.
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments and scripting for automation.
• Strong focus on automation of repetitive tasks and processes.
• Demonstrated ability to implement robust backup and disaster recovery strategies.
