This role involves designing, building, and supporting Oracle databases, each of approximately 100TB, with over 13 billion rows of data, processing around 1 billion SQL statements daily. You will work within a DevOps team, collaborating closely with application and infrastructure SMEs to ensure service standards, SLAs, and compliance are maintained. Responsibilities include proactive analysis, automation, incident management, and supporting 24/7 operations, including on-call duties and weekend work.
Contract: PAYE Agency worker (Inside IR35) - £575/day. Hybrid role based in Sheffield. Occasional on-call and weekend work, with compensatory time off as per HR policies.
