Job summary

Mentmore Recruitment is seeking an Oracle CPQ Architect for a senior role in designing and evolving its global CPQ capability. The role sits at the intersection of Oracle CPQ, CRM, ERP, pricing and downstream systems, providing architectural direction and governance.

Hybrid work with 2-3 days onsite, salary £120,000–£125,000, and collaboration with senior stakeholders across technology and business. The successful candidate will own end-to-end CPQ architecture, translate business requirements

Qualifications

• Significant experience with Oracle CPQ in an enterprise environment.
• Experience configuring and customizing CPQ, including BML and pricing logic.
• Proven delivery of enterprise-scale CPQ solutions in global or multi-region contexts.
• Strong understanding of quote-to-cash processes (configuration, pricing, approvals, quoting, orders).
• Experience integrating CPQ with Salesforce, Oracle ERP Cloud and other enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical architecture for Oracle CPQ within the quote-to-cash ecosystem.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead design and optimisation of global Oracle CPQ solutions.
• Oversee integrations between CPQ, CRM, ERP, pricing and downstream systems.
• Provide technical leadership to development, configuration and admin teams.
• Define architectural documentation and integration specifications.

Oracle CPQ Architect

We are working with a leading international retail organisation that is looking for a Oracle CPQ Architect to take a senior role in the design and evolution of its global CPQ capability.

This is an opportunity to take genuine architectural ownership of a critical commercial platform, working across the wider quote-to-cash landscape and partnering with senior stakeholders across technology and the business.

The role will sit at the intersection of Oracle CPQ, CRM, ERP, pricing and downstream fulfilment systems, providing architectural direction and ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable and aligned with wider enterprise architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical architecture for Oracle CPQ within the wider quote-to-cash ecosystem.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical and architectural solutions.
• Lead the design and optimisation of global Oracle CPQ solutions.
• Oversee integrations between CPQ, CRM, ERP, pricing and downstream operational systems.
• Provide technical leadership to development, configuration and administration teams, including third-party partners.
• Define and maintain architectural documentation, integration specifications and technical designs.
• Provide architectural governance across change, release and production processes.
• Act as a senior technical advisor to business and IT stakeholders, explaining technical options, constraints and trade-offs.
• Evaluate new Oracle CPQ capabilities and technologies to drive simplification, automation and improved commercial effectiveness.
• Act as an escalation point for complex CPQ technical issues.
• Mentor and develop technical team members while helping to build strong internal CPQ capability.

Experience

• Significant experience working with Oracle CPQ in an enterprise environment.
• Strong experience across Oracle CPQ configuration, customisation, BML, rules modelling and pricing logic.
• Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale CPQ solutions in global or multi-region environments.
• Strong understanding of quote-to-cash processes, including configuration, pricing, approvals, quoting and order management.
• Experience integrating CPQ with platforms such as Salesforce, Oracle ERP Cloud and other enterprise systems.
• Exposure to APIs, Middleware or integration platforms such as MuleSoft or SnapLogic.
• Experience operating as a Technical Architect or equivalent senior technical authority.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Experience working across multiple systems, vendors and integration partners.
