ORACLE APEX DEVELOPER RESPONSIBILITIES

The main purpose of the role is to shape products, directly impacting the solution and being an expert, influencing the development opportunities for our projects.

As an Oracle Apex Developer, you will work with cross-functional teams to play a key part in unique and safety-critical projects, involved from project inception through to delivery and beyond.

The successful Oracle Apex Developer must keep up with emerging technologies, supervise the activities of less experienced team members or colleagues to maintain operational feasibility through analysis, problem definition, solution development, and proposing solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Requirement analysis, production, and review of technical design solutions for large/complex programs.
• Translate requirements, use cases, and storyboards into functional applications using agreed standards and tools, including testing of new IT applications.
• Undertake efficient software development by applying good design principles, considering code reuse and efficiencies, and implementing best practices.
• Evaluate solutions using technical expertise, maintain technical awareness, and advise on alternatives, analysis, and modeling.
• Participate in reviews of own work and colleagues’ work to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.

ORACLE APEX DEVELOPER REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with Oracle APEX Web-based application development toolset.
• Ability to develop complex server-side PL/SQL code for data validation, import/export, and other functionalities.
• Disciplined and methodical approach to configuration control.
• Must be able to obtain SC Clearance.
