Oracle APEX Developer - Contract--Inside IR35-- Remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop responsive, user-friendly front-end applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX).

• Build and implement custom, role-based security components within APEX applications.

• Develop and manage RESTful APIs using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS), including configuration of OAuth2 security.

• Contribute to APEX architecture planning, installation, and integration with web servers.

• Work extensively with Oracle databases, including scripting, performance tuning, and security best practices.

• Develop and maintain code using PL/SQL, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, CSS, and JSON.

• Participate in full software development lifecycle projects—from initial requirements gathering and design through to development, deployment, and testing.

• Collaborate within Agile teams, contributing to SCRUM ceremonies and iterative delivery.

Required Skills:

• Proven with Oracle APEX (design, development, and deployment).

• Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture and PL/SQL programming.

• Hands-on with ORDS and RESTful web services.

• Proficiency in front-end technologies including JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML, and CSS.

• Familiarity with secure application development and custom authentication/authorization mechanisms.

• Working in Agile environments, particularly with SCRUM methodology.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
