Job Description:

We are seeking a Software Developer to work on challenging projects with the UK Government, developing software that supports government schemes such as COVID relief payments, NHS systems, and other critical applications. The role involves working on Oracle web-based applications for local authorities and central government clients, delivered as on-premise or SaaS solutions. Key skills include Oracle, PL/SQL, and Oracle Apex, with additional experience in Ruby-on-Rails and Java.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in full lifecycle development of large Oracle database applications
• Strong PL/SQL skills, including design, problem solving, and performance tuning
• Experience with web design and Oracle Apex
• Understanding of application and data security
• Relevant Computer Science or Technical Degree
• Eligibility for UK Security Clearance
• Experience with XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, HTML, CSS
