Essential Skills & Experience

• Active SC clearance (mandatory).

• Proven experience as an Oracle Architect, with a track record of successful Oracle 11g upgrades.

• Strong knowledge of Oracle 11g, 12c, 19c (and later versions if applicable).

• Expertise in database migration strategies (RMAN, Data Pump, GoldenGate, transportable tablespaces, etc.).

• Experience of high availability, clustering (RAC), and disaster recovery configurations.

• In-depth understanding of Oracle performance tuning and optimisation.

• Familiarity with running upgrades in secure government/defence environments.

• Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
